About Salon Blu

Salon Blu was founded in 2002 by owners, Todd and Jennifer Fincher in Raleigh, NC. It was Jennifer's desire to offer a truly amazing salon experience to her guests that prompted her to open her own salon just over eight years ago. Now with three locations in the Triangle, Salon Blu continues to be a leader in the industry.

Many people in the Triangle area know of Salon Blu not just for the incredible customer service and quality of hair design, but for its valiant efforts in supporting local charities. Salon Blu proudly participates in an annual head shaving event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation that raises money for pediatric cancer research. The profits from retail sales at the grand opening party for the North Hills location benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina. Salon Blu hosts BYOB parties (bring your own blow dryer) that encourage guests to bring in their gently used styling tools to be donated to a local women's shelter and in return for their generosity they are treated to a fun night of styling, special deals, and prizes. Salon Blu also supports NC Children's Promise and UNC Children's Hospital. It is evident to the community that Salon Blu offers more than a just a service, but offers to serve.

The newest location at North Hills in Midtown Raleigh boasts a state of the art facility that houses some of the most talented hair designers around. The salon contains eighteen styling stations, two blow dry stations, a private shampoo area for supreme relaxation, a unique color dispensary, a processing lounge, and a welcoming lobby that rivals any chic hotel. It most definitely offers a metropolitan aesthetic with the hospitable charm and appeal of Raleigh. 

In addition to cutting and Redken color services, Salon Blu at North Hills is also a great retail destination. Salon Blu proudly carries Redken and Pureology products exclusively and stands behind their quality. The ability to offer their guests premium products that are backed with substantial education makes this decision an easy one. As important as the techniques the stylists use to cut and color, so is the information they give their guests about the products they choose to use. The idea is to inform and educate the guests about the treatment of their hair and to provide them with the tools they require to achieve the same great look they receive at Salon Blu at their own home every day.
