About Gifts With A Heart

"Fair Trade" is a way of doing business with people in areas of the world which offer little or no way to earn a living. In return for producing their beautifully handcrafted items, they are paid fairly, provided a marketplace, and most importantly, given the hope of being able to care sufficiently for themselves, their children and their communities. Smiles and words of thanks also show their appreciation of the acceptance and care extended to them through this unique venture.

As the owner of "Gifts with a Heart, " I really enjoy the colorful merchandise and sharing the stories with customers. The relationship among the artisans, suppliers and retailers is very personable, transparent and follows closely the principles of the Fair Trade Federation.
